Business Description
Nambu Group is a South African integrated waste management and insect protein company founded in 2018. The company operates two facilities (Makhanda and East London) that process organic and food waste using Black Soldier Fly bioconversion to produce protein-based livestock feed, frass fertilizer, and offer consulting and training services. The East London facility processes up to 100 tonnes of food waste monthly, producing approximately 20 tonnes of BSF protein feed and organic fertilizer. Nambu supplies local farmers and regional partners across Southern Africa while actively expanding operations.
